How we protect personal data

Adapt Business Innovation B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. The following measures have been taken by us:

  • The monitoring and management of our SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange authorizations and settings for sharing;
  • Multiple authentication on our Office 365 environment;
  • Setting an additional, more extensive backup of SharePoint and / or Exchange data;
  • Periodic check of our network infrastructure for passwords, updates and encryption;
  • We have set up our own secure and private WiFi network with firewall equipment to protect the network;
  • Installation of a centrally managed and monitored antivirus solution;
  • Extra encryption of our laptops and encryption of hard drives is provided.

About the data processing

Email and mailing lists

MailChimp 

We send our e-mail newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every e-mail that has been automatically sent through our website you will see the unsubscribe link. you will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether e-mails are opened and read.

Office365

We use the services of Microsoft Office365 for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Office365 has no access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.

Storage

We use Microsoft OneDrive to store our data, documents and files. This Microsoft cloud environment is much safer than other local computing environments. Microsoft’s data centers are certified and at the same time meet internationally recognized standards for digital security. In addition, they are physically protected 24/7 and strict access controls are applied. Onedrive also offers the option of a so-called rollback. This feature is the solution for users who have been infected with ransomware and also the files on their OneDrive are lost. With a rollback, Microsoft restores the OneDrive account to how it looked a few weeks before. The management of our entire IT, including storage, is handled by Utica

Reviews

Google Suite 

We collect reviews via the Google Suite platform [to be specified: Provider]. If you leave a review via the Provider, you are required to provide your name, place of residence and e-mail address. The provider shares this information with us, so that we can link the review to your order. The provider also publishes your name and place of residence on its own website. Provider reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing the service, for which we have given permission to Provider. All the aforementioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the services for which the Provider engages third parties.

Invoicing and accounting

IBEO 

We use the services of IBEO to keep track of our administration and accounting. We share your name, address and place of residence details and details regarding your order. This data is used for administering sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored protected. IBEO is required to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. The provider does not use your personal data for purposes other than those described above.

Purpose of data processing

Retention periods

We keep your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices with your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for as long as the applicable period runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced as a result of your assignment.
